Investigation Captain Tommy Erwin

Captain Tommy Erwin began his law enforcement career at the Sharon Police Department in 1994.  In 1996 he was hired as a patorl office at Martin Police Department in. He was promoted to criminal investigator in 1999 and served there until 2011 when he was promoted to the rank of Captain of the Criminal Investigations Division.

Captain Erwin has worked in patrol, canine division, criminal investigations and served as a narcotics investigator for the 27th Judicial Drug Task Force.

Captain Erwin currently serves as the Criminal Investigations Captain. His duties include supervising property theft investigations, child abuse cases, crimes against people and property as well as narcotics and gangs.

Captain Erwin is a member of the West Tennessee Criminal Investigators Association and the Tennessee Association of Chiefs of Police.
