Huddle House Burglary

A burglary was reported this morning at 6:43 a.m. at Huddle House in Martin.  An exterior window had been broken out and someone had entered the business. An additional window was found to be busted out of the office area and the office door was standing open.  Police were also told that $537.52 had been stolen from the office. Officers discovered that a large rock had been used to bust the windows. Video footage was recovered and Martin Police Investigators began an investigation.  Later this afternoon, a suspect was developed and they did locate and interview him. During the interview, he did admit to breaking in to the business and stealing the money. The offender is Rocha A. Kimmel, age 20 of Martin. Mr. Kimmel was taken in to custody and transported to Weakley County Detention Center for the following charges:  Burglary, Theft of Property and Vandalism. He will be arraigned in Weakley County General Sessions Court on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
