National Night Out 2016

The 2016 City of Martin National Night Out Event on Tuesday, Oct. 4, was a huge success.

The City of Martin had six neighborhood parties, including a main event at the Martin Housing Authority.  Martin Police Officers and Martin Firefighters made appearances at the neighborhood get-togethers and visited with citizens and each other.

There was a large display of public safety vehicles and activities for families at each location.  Hot dogs, drinks and party favors were served to hundreds of visitors across the city.  Each location had different children oriented activities and fun for adults as well.  The Martin Police Department provided free photographing and fingerprinting of children.

A special thanks goes out to our sponsors and helpers that made this event possible:  Each of our location hosts, Weakley County Prevention Coalition, Martin Housing Authority, Martin Fire Department and Martin Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.

Thank you to all the participants for your support and allowing us to serve you!
