According to Captain Tommy Erwin, on February 7th 2016 at approximately 1:46 am, officers of the Martin Police Department responded to 530 Lee St. in reference to an Aggravated Burglary. According to victim statements, he and a roommate were awoken by noises inside their residence. According to one victim statement he observed what he described as a white female approximately 26 years of age with dirty blonde/brownish hair, standing approximately 5’ 6” with a chubby build, attempting to take items from his residence. The victim further stated that a a black male, approximately 6’ 2”, wearing a beanie and black leather jacket with a goatee and short hair came from one of the rooms and struck hi in the face. The victim advised that at that time his roommate came from his bedroom and was able to scare the perpetrators off.
